| Students will be equipped with a basic understanding of anatomy, biology, nutrition, microbiology, pharmacology, and oral pathology in order to supplement their practical training in operative dentistry, lab procedures, and dental radiology. In preparation for work in dental offices, students of the Dental Chairside Assistant program will also study workplace procedures, basic computer applications, bookkeeping, and appointment scheduling. Classroom studies are followed by mandatory clinical experience. |
